Where can I find spooky, eery sound effects? Most of the time, when I'm out recording sounds, I look for unusual sounds in small dark alleyways but for this sound library, I went to the staircase in our apartment building, which has a seriously amazing creepy vibe.

WHAT DID I RECORD?

I recorded inside the staircase and elevator room over 50 different metallic doors, and each door has a very distinctive and different sound.

The reverb coming from the various floors while closing the doors is what I find to be very unique. You could use the recordings as an impulse response as well.

In addition to the open and closing door sound effects, I recorded the rattling of several closed doors and I found one door that had the spookiest creaks, which we also shared on our Instagram account.
