This is currently the first Korean ferry sound library available online and we're glad you discovered us!

The recordings in this sound library are from the ferry ride from Wando to Jeju Island with a quick stop in Chuja-Do.

WHAT A JOURNEY 🚢

What a journey! We recorded from so many different locations while onboard until the weather changed & it became impossible to even look at a recorder.

We passed through some pretty turbulent waters about an hour before Jeju, and we were all happy to be on shore!

This library is huge & includes ship horns, sirens, loading, unloading, open and closing bow visor, pulling in rope, arrival at & leaving harbors, helicopter close fly by in Chuja-Do, heavy waters interior and exterior, doors open-closing, captain speaking, passengers boarding and leaving, doors open closing & much more. DMS AT ITS BEST 🏋️‍♂️

If you want more than just stereo, we recorded several sounds on board with our Schoeps DMS (CCM4+CCM8) recording equipment, and you can decode these Schoeps DMS recordings to a surround mix in real time using the free Schoeps Double MS plugin!
