Hi friends!

We’ve just returned from the beautiful city of Xiamen and are now back in Hong Kong until next week. We didn’t plan on coming back so soon, but sadly after experiencing a hardware failure with the new Voyage Audio Ambisonic mic, they sent us a replacement unit to Hong Kong in record time. So here we are and we’re excited to start recording with this unique microphone soon!

Our YouTube Comeback

After a 7-month break from making YouTube videos, Libby and I have already published two: one about the new Zoom H1 Essential and another about the "forgotten" Zoom H3VR. Since our track record with new gear hasn’t always been the best, we decided to bring the H3VR along as a backup—and we’re so glad we did!

Where To Find The New Sound Recordings

I’ve included all the first order ambisonic recordings we made in Hong Kong and Xiamen in the Hong Kong and China destination categories, as well as all the Zoom H1 Essential recordings. If you’re considering a small backup recorder, you can check out the original recordings from both devices. Simply head to your content page, go to the Hong Kong and China destination folders, and download the folder named:
